In celebration of their 79th anniversary, Beth Jacob is planning a fired-up Lag B’omer event featuring guests of honor Rabbi Emanuel and Estelle Feldman visiting from Israel, delicious dairy cuisine by E.B. Catering, live music, fire entertainer, and a presentation from South Africa based architect Asher Marcus of HUBO on the vision for an enhanced Beth Jacob campus.

The Feldmans are the well-loved Rabbi and Rebbetzin Emeritus of the Atlanta Jewish community, and it’s exciting to have them visit after several years of COVID restrictions interfering with travel plans. The Feldmans will share some inspiration words with the community in the second part of the program inside Heritage Hall.

An indoor/outdoor cocktail hour will kick off this anniversary event featuring drinks, artisan pizzas baked on the spot, and gourmet appetizers with live music and fire entertainment – feel the vibe as you stroll through the hallowed halls of Beth Jacob and out into the courtyard where you can watch the pizza ovens fire up and bake several varieties – including a custom fire-roasted option fitting for Lag B’omer!

A seated dairy dinner in Heritage Hall will follow at 7:30pm, with an array of delicious culinary options, remarks by Rabbi Emanuel & Estelle Feldman, and our architect’s presentation. Don’t forget to take home your Lag B’omer s’mores kit at the end of the evening!

Deadline to attend and be a sponsor of this phenomenal event (and place a personal or business ad in the virtual journal) is May 12 – sign up now before it fills up!
