Gloria Chien leads one of the most diverse musical lives as an internationally-known performer, Artistic Director, and educator. She joins the Vega Quartet for a rarely-heard treat- Amy Beach’s romantic Piano Quintet, and with Atlanta Symphony Principal Clarinetist Jesse McCandless, the fanciful Overture on Hebrew Themes by Prokofiev. The concert opens with Mozart’s delightful Variations for Piano 4 Hands with ECMSA Artistic Director William Ransom.
