Join Hineni for a local screening of BrainStorm: Transforming the Bipolar Landscape, a powerful documentary produced and directed by Bonnie Waltch and based on Sara Schley’s memoir. The film follows six individuals living with bipolar disorder, blending lived experience with current brain science to challenge stigma, promote understanding, and highlight the possibility of recovery and healing.

Following the screening, Bonnie Waltch and Sara Schley will participate in a panel discussion alongside a clinically informed expert, exploring accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, stigma reduction, and practical ways families and communities can support those living with bipolar disorder and other serious mental illnesses.
