Parents and teens are invited to come together for a meaningful evening of volunteering, connection, and Chanukah spirit.
The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a special presentation from Hershel, a Holocaust survivor, who will share his story and experiences. Following the approximately 30-minute presentation, families will enjoy pizza and drinks provided by Federation.
After dinner, parents and teens will work together to assemble 60 Chanukah gift bags and write personal cards for Holocaust survivors in Atlanta, helping bring a little extra light and joy to members of our community this Chanukah.
The completed gift bags will be presented to the survivors at JF&CS Atlanta’s Chanukah event on December 7.
Families can also support the project before the event by purchasing needed items from our Amazon Wish List. Can’t attend? You can still take part by purchasing an item to help fill the gift bags.
