Cookies for Israel with Web AddressEating cookies and playing with food – not pastimes generally touted as good for you, or good for the world.

Enter a group of passionate supporters of Israel, and suddenly both of those activities are major mitzvahs. This group of Atlanta activists is aiming to beat a Guiness World Record by creating the largest country flag made of cookies.

But playing with food and putting an Israeli flag into the Guiness Records wasn’t enough for these go-getters. They’re offering each of the cookies that will be used to create the flag up for ‘sale’ to supporters of Israel around the world.

When all the cookies are sponsored, a million dollars will be raised for charities in Israel. The 3 charities selected are One Family Fund; United Hatzalah;  The Jewish Agency and Partnership2Gether.

So what do you say – are you in? Click here to sponsor a cookie or 100 cookies, either way, everyone wins!

The cookie flag will be assembled in Congregation Beth Jacob‘s Heritage Hall on Sunday, June 3, 2018, and officially recognized by Guiness representatives.
