Jewish Scouting
Pack 1818 is a Cub Scout Pack with a Jewish twist. We are open to boys and girls grades K-5. We hold monthly pack and den meetings and encourage family involvement. When we camp, we celebrate Shabbat and Havdalah. Cub Scout philosophies, like respecting nature and service projects, mesh beautifully with our Jewish teachings of Tzedaka and Tikun Olam. We are kosher style at our functions. Although our charter organization is the MJCCA, we tend to pull from reform and conservative Jewish families from north of the perimeter. You do NOT have to member at the MJCCA to join.
