New York Times bestselling author and former White House speechwriter Sarah Hurwitz invites us to rediscover the wisdom, depth, and beauty of Jewish tradition at a time when many are searching for meaning and grappling with rising antisemitism. Drawing from her acclaimed books Here All Along and As a Jew, Hurwitz will explore with Rabbi Peter Berg how Jewish identity has been shaped by history, and how we can reclaim our story with confidence, purpose, and pride. Before becoming an award-winning author, Hurwitz crafted many memorable speeches of the last decade. Dinner will be followed by an opportunity to purchase a copy of As a Jew: Reclaiming Our Story From Those Who Blame, Shame, and Try to Erase Us and have it signed.
