In the heat and haze of summer 2020, a group of brilliant (and bored?) women decided it was time for Beth Jacob Sisterhood to put out a cookbook – but not just any cookbook…
This 2020 cookbook would have a strong emphasis on health to fortify us in this unique and challenging year, but still be very much a community project – with all recipes submitted by current and former members.
Over 200 recipes were collected, sorted, and compiled into a large, spiral bound book for easy use. Healthy substitutions, a 2-4 ingredient recipe index, and icons for gluten-free, sugar-free, and quick & easy were added to make the book even more user friendly.
Once you purchase the cookbook, join our L’Chaim cookbook facebook group to see user submitted photos, recipe tweaks and suggestions, and so much more!
Copies of the cookbook are available for purchase at Judaica Corner, The Spicy Peach, Kosher Gourmet, or from the Beth Jacob office. Shipping available. Get ’em while they last – there are only a few dozen cookbooks left in our first printing!
Order online at www.bethjacobatlanta.org/coobkookorders. (Sneak preview below of one of our pages. Please note that the book is printed in black and white, with color cover and section dividers.)
