A Milestone for the Future: Beth Jacob Legacy Fund Surpasses $1 Million in Assets

In 2024, the Beth Jacob Legacy Fund reached a milestone that speaks to the strength and heart of our community: over $1 million in assets committed to securing the future of our beloved shul.

Beth Jacob  Atlanta has stood as a cornerstone of Torah life in the South for 82 years. Under the visionary leadership of Rabbi Emanuel Feldman, and in partnership with a dedicated lay community, Beth Jacob became not just a local institution, but a national model. Its impact reverberates throughout the Southeast – building schools, laying the foundation for partner organizations like the Atlanta Scholars Kollel,  and drawing countless families closer to their heritage.

The Legacy Fund continues this mission. Thanks to the generosity of our benefactors, the Fund is already making cash distributions to support Beth Jacob’s youth programs – investing in the next generation while laying the foundation for long-term stability.

July is Legacy Fund Month, and we invite you to be part of it.

On Monday, July 14, join us for WILL POWER: Spiritual, Practical, and Legal Perspectives, a powerful evening featuring three nationally respected speakers:

  • Rabbi Ilan D. Feldman, Rabbi of Beth Jacob, will explore “The Hereafter in the Here and Now”—a spiritual and halachic approach to wills, mortality, and Jewish legacy.

  • Jonathan Gudema, a New York-based estate attorney and planned giving expert, will share strategies for tax-advantaged charitable giving and ensuring your final wishes are honored.

  • Paul Kaplan, Associate Director of Institutional Advancement at the Orthodox Union, will offer practical tools and halachic resources to help families protect their values and navigate estate planning with clarity.

No cost to attend. Light refreshments served.
Monday, July 14 • 7:00–9:00 PM • Beth Jacob Conference Room
