Welcome to IAC MAGEN Onboarding Training.

IAC MAGEN is a national civic leadership network empowering Israeli-American and Jewish community members to move from reacting to challenges to shaping their local environment with confidence and purpose.

At this interactive training, participants will learn how local civic power works, how to build relationships with elected officials, school boards, and law enforcement, how to respond to antisemitic issues in a smart and coordinated way, and finally how to build a proud Jewish and pro Israeli community.

Through practical tools, community mapping, and peer collaboration, you will connect with others who care about strengthening our community and join a growing national network working together for impact. The training is the starting point for continued engagement through local and national IAC MAGEN task forces focused on civic leadership, community resilience, and partnerships.

Task Force Selection – As part of IAC MAGEN Onboarding Training Day, you will join a Task Force- a focused group where your interests turn into real community impact.

Each Task Force works locally and nationally, providing tools, guidance, and a network to help you take meaningful action. Please review the options below and select the one that most interests you:

  • Public & Elected Officials – Build relationships with local elected officials, school boards, and municipal leaders. This group focuses on increasing community representation, engaging in public meetings, and proactively shaping policies and narratives related to Jewish and Israeli-American communities.
  • SHIELD – Antisemitism Response – Be part of a coordinated response network addressing antisemitism in schools, campuses, and the public sphere. This Task Force focuses on monitoring, reporting, escalation, community support, and working with relevant organizations to respond effectively and strategically.
  • Law Enforcement – Develop relationships and coordination with local law enforcement agencies. This group works on improving safety awareness, communication, and collaboration to ensure the community is protected and prepared.
  • Allies Relations – Build and strengthen relationships with non-Jewish partners, community leaders, and organizations. This Task Force focuses on creating coalitions, fostering mutual understanding, and expanding the circle of support for the Jewish and Israeli-American community.

Please select one Task Force you would like to start with.

Note: After the training, you will have the opportunity to join additional Task Forces or switch between them based on your interests and level of engagement.
