Since October 7, some publishers and agents have told Jewish writers “now is not the time.” Howard Lovy started a press to say yes.
Howard is Editor-in-Chief of Canary Publishing, a nonprofit trade press for Jewish, Israeli, and Zionist writers, with particular attention to authors whose work has been dropped, sidelined, or rejected by mainstream publishing. He also writes Emet-Truth, a Substack of Jewish news and commentary.
He joins Israel Up Close, AIC’s online speaker series, live for a 45-minute talk, then takes your questions. Uri Zehavi hosts.
