The Author’s Table is AIC’s monthly online book club, and it opens with Shai Davidai’s American Intellectual Antisemitism: The Anti-Jewish Movement Tearing Through Our Universities. This first session is free and open to everyone, members and non-members.
The book is his account of what he found when he started asking questions out loud on his own campus, and of what the institutions around him did next. He taught at Columbia Business School until he resigned in July 2025, so he isn’t writing about this from a distance.
Read it beforehand if you can. Shai comes on at eight to take questions and stays about twenty minutes, and then we keep talking about the book. If you’re at college, or you’ve got a kid who is, come to this one.
It runs on Microsoft Teams, and Teams emails you your own link when you register.
