Digital Warrior: Inside Israel’s Battle for the Narrative After October 7 is Rachel Lester’s account of the war as it was fought over the story, told from inside the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit. It runs from October 7 through the Al-Ahli hospital blast, the hostage releases, the campuses, Hezbollah, and Iran.
Rachel served four years on the Spokesperson’s Unit’s international social media team, and after October 7 she went straight back for more than 200 days of reserve duty. She grew up in Los Angeles, graduated from USC, and moved to Israel in 2017.
She joins The Author’s Table, AIC’s monthly online book club, to talk about how she came to write it and to take your questions. Note the time: this one is at noon Eastern. It’s free for AIC members at every level. You just buy the book.
Membership starts at $72 a year at www.atlantaisrael.org/join
