World History by a Jew: Chabad of Toco Hills has a new one-of-a-kind lecture series! World history from a Jewish perspective: Learn about famous historical events and explore the (often surprising) ways these events are connected to the Jewish people. Next lecture:

Topic: “The Ancient Middle East in the Time of Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob” by Seth Fleishman

Description: This lecture will discuss the states, economy, laws, and politics of the Middle East during the lifetime of our patriarch Avraham. What were countries like back then? What were their law codes? Was there international trade? What did people even do for a living? How did Avraham move from Mesopotamia to Canaan?  Believe it or not, archaeology has a lot to say about his time. Want to know more? Come to Chabad of Toco Hills and find out!
