National Donate Life Month, established in 2003 by Donate Life America and its partner organizations, is observed every April to raise awareness about organ, eye, and tissue donation. It serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of registering as a donor and celebrates the individuals whose generosity have saved and transformed lives.

Leave a Lasting Legacy

During April, we honor those who have given the gift of life through donation. We also celebrate the thousands of lives that have been healed and restored because of their selfless decisions.

Choosing to become an organ, eye, and tissue donor offers hope to the more than 100,000 people currently on the national transplant waiting list—each one waiting for a second chance at life.

How You Can Make a Difference

During National Donate Life Month (and all year long) you can help save and heal lives by:

You can also get involved in your community and online by sharing information and stories on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, DonateLife.net and Lifelink. Together, we can honor donors, uplift recipients, and support the families and caregivers who are part of this journey.
