A designer, raconteur, author, model, and legendary New York style icon-about-town, Tziporah has been the favorite subject of such acclaimed photographers and artists as the New York Times’s late, great  Bill Cunningham and Ari Seth Cohen. Like her friend the ageless icon Iris, she has elevated the act of dressing to an art form and, her creations are beautiful, harmonious, and always original. The irrepressible voice and champion of women who dare to dress, “Tzippy” has spent a lifetime collecting remarkable antique clothes, hats, and accessories, assembling them into outfits she shares with the world from the seat of the shiny bike she rides all over Manhattan.

In her award-winning one-woman stage show, Tziporah tells the remarkable story of her parents, Hungarian Jews who survived the Holocaust and fled to Israel, where she was born. The family later immigrated to New York City, where her father worked as a master tailor and her mother as a skilled dressmaker. The show showcases Tziporah’s legendary wardrobe of rare vintage and designer clothes that has inspired some of New York’s top designers and photographers.

Tziporah found her way into many aspects of the fashion and style industry, and today, when asked about her career, invariably replies, “I dress.”
