Atlanta Jewish Film Festival – Love Gets a Room

In this tour-de-force musical tale of love and survival in the 1942 Warsaw Ghetto, a cast of vibrant young stage actors faces a dire dilemma. While captive Jews suffer hunger and disease, cultural life thrives in a small theater within the ghetto walls. On a cold wintry night, a troupe of performers stages a lively musical comedy, bringing some joy to their sadly desperate audience. Given a life-or-death choice, an anguished, lovestruck actress ponders escaping the ghetto, as on- and offstage realities converge for a poignant finale.
