As Chair of the Knesset Committee on Public Projects and Chairman of the Religious Zionism faction, MK Tal serves on the Foreign Affairs & Defense Committee and heads the Israel–US Relations Caucus. Born in Eilat, Tal served as a tank commander in the IDF Armored Brigade and participated in Operation Defensive Shield. Beyond politics, he has built a distinguished career in Jewish education, global leadership, and community building, including leadership roles at World Bnei Akiva and World Mizrachi. His deep experience as a soldier, educator, and statesman makes him uniquely positioned to reflect on the recent war and its global implications.
