Hillel Heroes: Honoring Those Who Make a Difference!
Join us for Hillel Heroes 2022 as we bestow the prestigious Billi & Bernie Marcus Visionary Award to Sanford Orkin for his lifetime commitment to Hillel and our Jewish community, celebrate our Hillel Heroes, thank our generous donors and salute the incredible impact Hillels of Georgia makes for Jewish life on campuses across the state.
This year’s 2022 Hillel Hero Award Recipients are:
● Teddy Lambert, Hillel Student Leader, Georgia Tech Hillel & Tikkun Olam Makers Project
● Dr. Catherine Lewis, Faculty Advisor to Kennesaw State University Hillel
● Coach Josh Pastner, Yellow Jackets Head Men’s Basketball Coach & Georgia Tech Hillel Advocate
● Dr. Raymond Schinazi, Emory Professor & Hillels of Georgia Philanthropist
The evening of festivities will also include a live musical performance by Emory University’s Jewish acappella group, Chai Tunes, cocktails, and food.
