An affectionate, delightfully tsuris-filled Argentine dramedy erupts when a Miami expat returns to Buenos Aires for a long-awaited family wedding and Bat Mitzvah—with the simchas imploding after his father’s sudden death. Dario Roitman barrels into the chaos determined to keep the celebrations alive, but as the family gathers for the funeral, old sibling grudges and rivalries flare and long-buried secrets surface, with equal parts hilarity and heartbreak. Even so, the ever-hopeful prodigal son pushes forward, coaxing his fractured clan toward something resembling harmony.
