The Atlanta Jewish Film Festival is thrilled to announce a return to movie theaters and continued virtual experience  for its 22nd edition this February. The 12-day hybrid festival model will offer audiences flexibility in crafting their own customized festival experience, whether enjoying the latest lineup of international narrative and documentary film on the big screen or from the comfort of home.

For those craving the premium moviegoing experience and community connection that only the theater can offer, AJFF is excited to welcome back moviegoers to the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center, with additional in-person screenings at two intown locations: Landmark’s Midtown Art Cinema and a special late-night event for cult movie buffs at the historic Plaza Theatre in Poncey-Highland. In response to the ongoing pandemic, AJFF will adhere to stringent safety measures, based on conditions at that time, consistent with industry standards, and informed by guidance from an expert medical advisory group. Specific COVID-19 protocols will be announced closer to the event dates.

Audiences will also be able to continue to access the festival via the Virtual Cinema, a streaming platform first introduced at the 2021 AJFF as part of the reimagined festival experience. Whether on a smart TV or computer, festivalgoers can watch movies and filmmaker Q&As anytime and anywhere, with the added convenience of expanded viewing windows.
