In moments of Jewish Joy, there’s a pretty consistent list of things we do as a community:we sing, we eat, and—we dance!
Whether you’re a beginner or a prima ballerina, join internationally acclaimed dance instructor Steve Weintraub – known as the Pied Piper of Yiddish Dance – on Thursday, May 9 as he teaches and leads a session of joyous traditional communal dancing, accompanied by the CBH band.
He has taught and performed Yiddish dance and klezmer music across the U.S. and in Krakow, London, and Paris.
Having him at CBH is a rare (and fun) opportunity to connect with the Jewish culture of 19th Century Eastern Europe.
Even in times fraught with sorrow, Jews have always found moments of joy, with a consistent list of things we do as a community: We sing. We eat. And we dance!
There is no charge for this event, but please register at our “tickets” link so we know you’re coming!
