Sinai Shake ‘n Quake: Shavuot Ecstatic Dance

This Shavuot, celebrate that your body is the instrument, your life is the music and our community is the place through which Torah lives. COME BE WHO YOU ARE, LET GO, bring your shofar to BLOW (for reals), and let’s CELEBRATE the revelation of BECOMING. We ALL have come from narrow places to become who we are and so, on this Pride Shabbat weekend, we invite everyone to celebrate that we made it through personal and collective wildernesses to embody the revelation of who we are today because of that journey

No prior dance experience is needed AT ALL – just an open head and heart. For those who wish to deepen your experience, please bring a sacred item/flower/token to build a communal altar which you can retrieve at the end of the gathering and also bring a shofar for when it’s time to remember the sounds we heard swirling around Sinai.
