Join the Atlanta Jewish community and allies as we celebrate Hanukkah and “Shine a Light on Antisemitism” on Wed., Dec. 1 at 6:30 p.m. at The Temple and online and on Sun., Dec. 5 at 6:30 pm at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta.
According to the Anti-Defamation League’s annual Audit of Antisemitic Incidents, 2019 and 2020 were, respectively, the highest and third-highest years on record for cases of harassment, vandalism, and assault against Jews in the U.S. since tracking began in 1979. With this in mind, many Jewish partners and interfaith allies have come together to host these two events.
Atlanta is one of eight participating cities in the nationwide “Shine A Light on Antisemitism” campaign. This week-long campaign is an invitation to you to share the light and love and acceptance of the Jewish people and celebrate our linked humanity.
