Shalom b’Harim means “Peace in the Mountains.” We present monthly Shabbat services as well as High Holidays services and an annual Passover Seder, primarily in the Reform and Conservative traditions. Our congregation typically meets at Unity of Gainesville. We are strongly committed to Tikkun Olam activities, including an ongoing partnership with Georgia Mountain Food Bank. We are an inclusive, not exclusive, unaffiliated synagogue with no dues structure. Our participants are Reform, Conservative and Orthodox from both Ashkenazi and Sephardic traditions. We attract congregants from numerous counties throughout North Georgia, including Hall, Lumpkin, Dawson, White, Habersham, Forsyth, Gwinnett and elsewhere. Dates of our services can be found on our website and on the Atlanta Jewish Connector.
