Selichot: Celebrating Temple Authors feat Michael Coles

September 21, 2019 Atlanta Free

Selichot: Celebrating Temple Authors featuring Temple member Michael Coles, author of “Time to Get Tough: How Cookies, Coffee, and a Crash Led to Success in Business and Life”

Saturday, September 21 • 6:30pm Nosh • 7:00pm Program & Service; 8:30 Reception

The celebration of Selichot serves as our kick off to the whole season of High Holy Days. Many of our fellow Temple members have also written books, works of art that reflect their lives or reflections on parts of their lives. It made us wonder: how might writing a book have an impact on how we see the lives we’ve lived, and how we would want to “write our days and years to come.” Our liturgical metaphor meets real life! Join us for a night of learning and reflection, featuring Michael Coles with co-author by Dr. Catherine Lewis, Assistant Vice President,Museums, Archives & Rare Books at Kennesaw State University. RSVP to Joya Schmidt at jschmidt@the-temple.org by September 17.
