CIE/ISMI Digital Enrichment Workshop on Israel

The Center for Israel Education and the Emory Institute for the Study of Modern Israel present their 19th annual Enrichment Workshop on Modern Israel, which for the first time will be an all-digital, remote learning opportunity. Featuring such experts as Michael Berger, Reuven Hazan, Rachel Fish, Gil Troy and Nachman Shai, as well as CIE and ISMI’s own Tal Grinfas-David, Rich Walter, Eli Sperling and Ken Stein, the four-day workshop is ideal for educators who teach about Israel and for anyone who works with a Jewish organization involved with any aspect of Israel. The workshop covers the origins and development of Zionism, the Jewish people’s historical and biblical connections to the land, Israeli politics and leadership, the U.S.-Israel relationship, and the music and culture of Israel. Workshop participants can customize their experience by choosing among optional sessions that meet their interests and needs.

The application fee is $75 until June 1, after which it increases to the regular price of $150.
