To commemorate this event, we have invited Rabbi Y.M. Wagner from Krefeld, Germany, to present a lecture titled “Ready or Not – Here We Come: Jews in Germany Today.”One of Germany’s youngest community rabbis, Rabbi Yitzchak Mendel Wagner is one of the first ordained Rabbis in Germany after the Holocaust and the first in Krefeld, Germany in more than 70 years.

Presenting many photos and fascinating personal accounts, Rabbi Wagner will provide a brief synopsis of the history of the Shoah from the perspective of the medium-sized Jewish community of Krefeld. He will also speak about the state of Jews in Germany today.
