- Trivia Night at Bambinelli’s in Roswell on Nov 2nd, 9th, & 16th!
- 2019 Money Management for Life program on November 20 at Congregation B’nai Torah. Herb Simonoff, Chancellor of the Money Managing Academy, will present a talk on financial matters.
- 34th Annual PAL Hanukah Party Sponsored by B’nai B’rith: Join us Sunday, December 15 as the Achim/Gate City Lodge of B’nai B’rith International sponsors the 34th!! Annual PAL Hanukkah Party. BOWLING FUN!!!
- 2019 Pinch Hitters: Join us on Wednesday, December 25th as a Pinch Hitter volunteer! We work in non-medical positions in area hospitals and assisted living facilities on Christmas Day to give employees the day off to spend with their families.
- 2020 Atlanta Jewish Festival at the GA Aquarium, January 26, 10 am – 3 pm: Visit our table to learn more about the good work of B’nai B’rith.
- 2020 Enlighten America Student Essay Contest: our annual Essay Contest for students (7th – 9th grades) encourages respect and tolerance of our friends’ and neighbors’ diverse religious beliefs and their racial and cultural backgrounds. The winners of the 2019 Enlighten America Essay Contest were announced on May 9. Join us at these community events to learn about B’nai B’rith’s history and the important work that we do, including:
- Senior housing, care for seniors, and advocacy for our aging population;
- Community action programs, including disaster relief, community service, and Tikkun Olam;
- Representation as a Non-Governmental Organization at the UN and around the world so that the rights of the Jewish people are recognized and protected;
- And, locally, important programs in the community such as the Pinch Hitter Program (providing volunteers in hospitals and assisted living facilities on Christmas), Enlighten America (essay contest for 7th to 9th graders on tolerance) and Unto Every Person There is a Name (Holocaust remembrance service at the State Capitol).
