B’nai B’rith “Cares for Kids” is a community service program that has brought thousands of teddy bears and other stuffed animals to children who are facing difficult health issues, family situations, and tragedies. “Cares for Kids” is a program of our local Achim Gate City Lodge of B’nai B’rith International, a non-profit organization seeking “unwanted” stuffed animals.

Cares for Kids-Delivery Helen-Cares for KidsRecipients of these adorable loved stuffed animals range from children recovering from fire injuries, to police and domestic violence tragedies, or ill in a hospital, to those involved in family or children services programs in your community. As part of our many local and national disaster relief projects like when fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods occur, we deliver directly to the children at local police stations, shelters, health clinics, and hospitals, as permitted and accepted.
