Who is Banksy? Or more accurately, what is Banksy? According to the internet, “Banksy” is an anonymous England-based street artist, political activist, and film director whose satirical street art and subversive epigrams combine dark humor with graffiti executed in a distinctive stenciling technique. His seemingly random art installations regularly make headlines every year, and many illustrate the Israel-Palestine conflict in a way no artist has been able to before.
