Rosh Hashanah Fest will offer crafts, music, shofar learning/blowing, holiday foods, and more. Hosted by three URJ (Reform) congregations in the northern suburbs, Temple Beth Tikvah, Congregation Dor Tamid, and Temple Kehillat Chaim, and funded by a Federation Making Jewish Places grant, Rosh Hashanah Fest will be a family-friendly and radically welcoming outdoor festival open to anyone who wants to connect with Jewish life.
The event is free. All three congregational rabbis and educators will be on hand to meet and greet families. In a laid-back, fun atmosphere, Rosh Hashanah Fest aims to capture the joy and spirit of the upcoming Jewish fall holidays. Whether attendees are affiliated with a congregation or not, they’ll learn a lot about Jewish resources in the area. And everyone will go home with apples and honey sticks.
Rosh Hashanah Fest takes place Sunday, August 15 from 3-5 pm at Wills Park (Lions Pavilion) in Alpharetta, GA. Lions Pavilion is located just west of the pool at Wills Park.
