Photographing Spring Wildflowers

April 7, 2019 Roswell
milkweed

From the smallest flower in the woods to flashy tulips and roses in the garden, flowers are the subject of some wonderful nature photographs. We’ll talk about how to make photos of flowers and plants, ranging from realistic close-ups in a natural habitat to artistic images that express your creative vision. Time and weather permitting, we’ll take a nature walk into the woodland trails around the nature center. The class will include a discussion of techniques, focus, depth of field, creative options, and more. Be prepared to practice those techniques in the classroom and the garden. Professional nature photographer Eric Bowles will be leading this half-day class for beginner to intermediate photographers. Ages 16+. $40 general public/$35 CNC members. Register by April 4.
