Session 1: June 4-8, 2018Session 2: June 11-15, 2018Time: 9:00 AM-4:00 PMGrades: Rising 9th – Recent GraduatesRegistration Fee: $199.00 per session*Judaic Mosaic offers five fast-paced days of songwriting, recording in a professional studio environment, exposure to industry insiders, and field trips to studios and industry landmarks.Open to musicians in grades rising 9th-recent graduates, participants receive training in music theory, Jewish music history, songwriting and engineering while collaboratively writing and recording a song.Musicians exit the program with a refined sense of their own musical identity, unique personal connection to peers and the Atlanta Jewish community, experience recording in a major studio, and a songwriting credit on a commercially-released album. Choose just one session or do both! Each session produces an inspired, fresh sound that reflects the “mosaic” of their personalities and influences.
All instruments are welcomed! Past sessions have included sitar, violin, viola, trumpet, acoustic and electric guitars and bass, ukulele, rock drums and hand percussion, piano and drawbar organ, sung and rapped vocals!
