Speakers: Rebecca Brown, LCSW, and Tzipporah Gerson-Miller, LCSW.
Rebecca Brown is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work from New York University. Rebecca is the Outreach and Prevention Social Worker for the JF&CS Shalom Bayit program, providing education and programming to the Jewish community. She believes in the importance of community outreach as a means to foster social change and educate future generations. Rebecca also provides individual therapeutic services for children, adolescents and adults experiencing various mental health challenges.
Tzipporah Gerson-Miller is a licensed psychotherapist in the state of Georgia with a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia. She’s worked in the field of community-based mental health clinic settings for more than 10 years, as well as domestic violence shelters and hospitals. Tzipporah is a full-time therapist with the Shalom Bayit Program at JF&CS where she specializes in complex PTSD, mood disorders, substance abuse recovery, domestic violence, perinatal, postpartum, and maternal mental health, integrative mental health medicine for women throughout the lifespan, Ayurvedic/ Yogic lifestyle medicine, EMDR, infant mental health, child/parent psychotherapy, and attachment based family therapy.+ More... - Less...
