The Jerusalem Quartet — widely considered one of the leading chamber music groups in the world — is extending its U.S. tour this fall to perform at The Temple as their final stop as part of the quartet’s 30th anniversary 2024/25 season.
The quartet is known for their breadth of repertoire and stunning depth of expression as beloved guests on the world’s great concert stages. Musicians: Alexander Pavlovsky, violin; Sergei Bresler, violin; Ori Kam, viola; and Kyril Zlotnikov, violoncello. Program: Mozart’s String Quartet in C major, KV 465 “Dissonance”; Shostakovich’s String Quartet No. 12 in D-flat major, Op. 133; and Brahms’s String Quartet No. 3 in B-flat major, Op. 67.
To extend and enhance the Israeli cultural arts experience, the event will also feature a pop-up gallery with works by Ori Gabrieli and other talented Israeli artists available for viewing and purchase before the concert as well as after the performance.
Other Mediterranean fare catered by Sabaraba’s will be available for purchase before the concert.
Tickets include admission to the concert and gallery as well as a drink and dessert bites.
