As we celebrate Israel at 68 and the 2016 election unfolds, J Street President Jeremy Ben-Ami and former Jerusalem Bureau Chief for The New York Times Jodi Rudoren will examine the ways the U.S. political discourse shapes and is influenced by politics in Israel and how both can impact the prospects of a two-state solution. On the eve of Israel’s Independence Day, Ben-Ami and Rudoren will come together at Ahavath Achim Synagogue on Wednesday, May 11 at 7:30pm for a timely discussion on how political extremes both countries affect the viability for peace.
This J Street event is free and open to the public; for more information and to register go to http://act.jstreet.org/signup/acts-ground-politics-home/.
