‘Crossing the Line 2’ Community Screening With Director Shoshana Palatnik

October 27, 2015 Marietta Free

With anti-Israel activity and anti-Semitic rhetoric on the rise at college campuses throughout the country, Jerusalem-based film director Shoshana Palatnik will travel across the United States, starting at the end of October, to host screenings and discussions of the new documentary “Crossing the Line 2: The New Face of Anti-Semitism on Campus.

The film aims to raise awareness of these issues by demonstrating when reasonable criticism of Israel crosses the line into anti-Semitism on North American campuses. Click here to watch a trailer of the film and here for more information about it.

The events are designed to educate the community and provide information and tools to address this growing trend and the mounting boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) movement. Recent studies on these issues include an August report by the Israel on Campus Coalition, which noted 1,630 anti-Israel incidents on 181 U.S. campuses and a 132 percent surge in BDS campaigns against Israel during 2014-2015 compared with the previous academic year.
