Chai Mitzvah Class 2026-2027

Mondays once a month – Meet on 2nd Monday of each month in person in the Beth Shalom Chapel. Starting Monday, September 14th.

Chai Mitzvah is an adult Jewish engagement initiative, that guides the participants in answering questions through study, spirituality, and social action.

This year’s Chai Mitzvah class will have a different look. We will be studying the five major religions, Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, and Judaism. We will delve into the origins, core beliefs, practices, and cultural impact of these religions. Our resources will include a book and other curriculum materials.  The cost for this class will be $15. 00 payable at our first meeting.  All classes will take place on the second Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m. at Beth Shalom synagogue.  I look forward to learning and studying with each of you.
