January 6, 2019 Atlanta Free
Tree of Life synagogue

For 6th grade and up.In response to the mass shooting in a Pittsburgh synagogue, the Jewish community of Atlanta is coming together for an evening of learning, support and community for students grades 6-12 and the people who care about them. Through a panel discussion and age-appropriate facilitated breakout groups we will explore the questions:1. How do we navigate the reality of anti-Semitism in 2018?2. How do we communicate as a family about what is happening in our world today?3. How do we come together as a community to advocate for the world we wish to see?RSVP at https://jumpsparkatl.org/program/antisemitism-summit.Presented by the ADL SoutheastTemple Sinai Atlanta, JumpSpark and community partners:The William Breman Jewish Heritage MuseumCongregation Bet HaverimCongregation Or HadashCreating Connected CommunitiesThe Epstein SchoolHadassah Greater AtlantaIsraeli American Council – IAC AtlantaJF&CS AtlantaNFTY SAR | Southern Area RegionTemple Beth TikvahThe TempleURJ Camp ColemanPlease email Laura.gronek@jumpsparkatl.org if your organization is interested in becoming a Community Partner to promote this event to your constituency.
