Modern Jewish Sounds Concert Series

The Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust has announced a new concert series, Modern Jewish Sounds, featuring contemporary Jewish musicians performing in the Museum’s Edmond J. Safra Hall.

The series continues with Daniel Kahn’s return to the United States. The Detroit-born, Berlin-based troubadour will share his unique style of music that mixes Yiddish, English, Russian, and German with a distinctly punk and folk flavor. Khan will be joined on stage by his dear friends Jake Shulman-Ment, Sarah Gordon, Lorin Sklamberg, and other comrades for an intimate evening of new and old songs that cross the borders of languages, cultures, generations, and worlds.
