DID YOU KNOW? Women make up nearly half of the working population, but only 26% work in STEM fields. (U.S. Census Bureau) AJA, with the support from the Atlanta Jewish Women’s Fund of Atlanta is helping to level out the playing field in STEM careers for women.
We are creating programs to provide girls in the Atlanta Jewish community with the information and knowledge to pursue degrees and job opportunities in the STEM fields.
All Jewish female 7th-12th Grade students in the Greater Atlanta area are invited to attend this event.
During the Career Fair, you will meet with women who have careers in a variety of STEM fields, and learn about STEM-based college curricula and career opportunities. This program also provides support for building your STEM network. The Career fair includes information tables hosted by women with foundations in science, technology, engineering, and math. We will have representatives from a variety of organizations, including local chapters of professional organizations, talking about their careers and educational experiences.
