We’re meeting at Longwood Park for a short Rosh Hashanah gathering by the water. Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish New Year.
We will sound the shofar, which is the central tradition of the day. Then we say Tashlich, a brief prayer at the water’s edge about letting go of the past year and starting clean.
The whole thing is under an hour. It’s free. If you’re Jewish and haven’t been to anything in years, or ever, this is an easy one to walk into. Kids do great here since it’s outdoors and short. We’ll be near the pavilion. Look for the group by the water.

Wishing all of you a good year ahead.
