Learn from aging and dementia experts

Kayley Fleming, Alzheimer’s Association, will discuss the basics of dementia and the Alzheimer’s Association’s services and resources available to clients with dementia.

Debbi Dooley, RN, LPC, Geriatric Care Manager, Aviv Older Adult Services of JF&CS will discuss the importance of treating the individual with dementia as a whole person, while balancing their need for safety and desire for independence. She will share how families and care partners impacted by dementia can expand their caregiving team and create plans for short and long-term care.

Miles Hurley, JD, CELA, Hurley Elder Care Law will discuss costs for long-term care, including Medicare and Medicaid. He will help you learn how to plan ahead to protect your assets, your family and your wishes.
