Since the attack on Israel on October 7, antisemitism has risen to historically high levels in the U.S. and around the world—and college campuses have not been immune from this surge in hate.

With campus antisemitism on the minds of so many in the Jewish community, Hillel wants to ensure that high school students and their families have as much information as possible about what antisemitism and Jewish life on campus are like right now.

In our second session of Hillel’s Virtual College Prep Series, we will look beyond the headlines and provide you with an accurate, up-to-date picture of the college landscape and how Hillel supports and protects Jewish students from every angle—including security, legal support, and educating college presidents and university administrators about antisemitism.

This session will feature current college student leaders—Talia Segal, Georgia Institute of Technology ’24 and Zach Patterson, Duke University ’26—and a team of experts that includes:

  • Adam Lehman: President and CEO, Hillel International
  • Rachel Fish, PhD: Co-Founder and President, Boundless
  • Jon Falk: Vice President of Israel Action and Addressing Antisemitism Program (IAP), Hillel International
  • Hagar Ben-Eliezer: Chaplain, BCC Mental Health and Wellness Therapist, Berkeley Hillel
  • Hunter Gold: Executive Director, UCF Hillel

At Hillel, we know that choosing a college isn’t just about the right academic fit, it’s also about finding a safe and welcoming community, a home away from home that celebrates and empowers all students’ Jewish identity. We’re honored to be your trusted partner in helping make the college selection process a whole lot easier.
