Join Shalom Bayit on May 6th for a gripping one-woman play, portraying Michal’s gut-wrenching story of domestic violence. Naomi Ackerman, Israeli American playwright and actress, will perform “Flowers Aren’t Enough” at 7:30 PM on Thursday, May 6th, via ZOOM, followed by a 30 minute discussion with Naomi Ackerman and Shalom Bayit Program Director Wendy Lipshutz.

Naomi Ackerman’s powerful portrayal draws you into her character in a way that many viewers feel as if they are living Michal’s experience. The play speaks to adults and teens, to survivors and to each of us who cares about abuse and working towards Shalom Bayit, peace in the home. Presented within a Jewish context, her message is universal, portraying realities faced by survivors from all backgrounds and cultures. There is no charge to attend.
