Kristallnacht Memorial Shabbat

During this special service where we memorialize Kristallnacht (the night of the broken glass), we will hear from CDT member Art Meier, a survivor of the Holocaust.

 Arthur Meier was born in Milbach, Germany in 1925 and came to the United States in 1939 at the age of 14. Arthur lived in Brooklyn, New York, fought in WWII, raised a family in New Jersey, and moved to Tampa, Florida in 1995.

Last year, Arthur moved to Georgia to be near his daughter, Sherry Nemiroff. Arthur is the oldest member of Congregation Dor Tamid.
