Jewish Genealogical Society of Georgia fall meeting

The Jewish Genealogical Society of Georgia fall meeting will be held Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 2:00 PM  at The Breman Museum, 1440 Spring St, NW, Atlanta, GA.

The topic of the meeting is ”Using The Central Database of Shoah Victim’s Names: Beginning and Advanced Techniques with Case Studies.”

We will watch a video of the presentation describing the Central Database of Shoah Victim’s Names made by Cynthia Wroclawski and Zvi Bernhardt at the International Conference on Jewish Genealogy in Jerusalem last summer.  The topics they discuss include how to use the database, case studies of success stories, and tips and tweaks for searching with the new interface.

Cynthia Wroclawski is the manager of The Shoah Victims’ Names Recovery Project at Yad Vashem and Zvi Bernhardt is the Deputy Director of Yad Vashem.
Admission to the program is included in admission to the museum.
