November 1, 2018 Atlanta Free

The Fran Eizenstat and Eizenstat Family Lecture presents, One Woman’s Journey Through Music.

Join us for this year’s Fran Eizenstat and Eizenstat Family Lecture featuring world-renowned pianist, author, and storyteller, Mona Golabek. Come and watch her bring to life the heart-wrenching journey of her mother, Lisa Jura, whose life was saved on the Kindertransport. Mona masterfully tells the story and performs the music of the beloved classical composers that were dear to her mother, the narrative taken from her highly acclaimed book, The Children of Willesden Lane, co-authored with Lee Cohen.

Experience the exquisite blend of musical performance and storytelling that Meryl Streep calls “an inspiring tribute to the power of a mother’s love.”
