David Broza Online Concert “A Yearning Song”
Israel’s legendary singer-songwriter David Broza will engage in a special worldwide online quarantine concert on June 7, 2020, bringing a unique setting to the performance of his popular songs. From Jerusalem to São Paolo, Paris to Sydney and NYC to Madrid – for 88 days of quarantine, David Broza’s living room has become his stage. “I have been performing almost daily with communities around the world, making the best of the situation, but still yearning to connect with audiences and friends,” says Broza.
On June 7th, he will again let the muses unfurl, and welcome fans into his living room while he plays his most popular songs and a few rare ones. Broza is encouraging fans to send their requests, along with their personal quarantine stories to his Facebook page. He will play requests and share stories throughout the performance.
The ticketed event will be hosted by Firebolt Technologies. Tickets are priced at $8.00 per household and will be sold with a unique code to be used for admittance. Each ticket is good for live streaming and limited post-concert viewing. 20% of the profits will be donated to Covid-19 relief charities.
Commenting on the upcoming concert, Broza states: “We will join in song across the globe and embrace our love and lust for life. We’ll set yearning aside while we look forward to the day when we can all be together again.”
The concert follows the release of Broza’s instrumental single “Tears for Barcelona,” from the upcoming album En Casa Limón (S-Curve/BMG) set for release in September 2020. A DJ Chaim remix of “Tears for Barcelona”* is scheduled for June 11, 2020.
